Lesley-Ann Brandt was born Cape Town, South Africa on 2 December 1981. She is an actress/model popular for her work on television and in film. Brandt had her American debut on Spartacus: Blood and Sand, a historical drama. She began her acting career as a New Zealander who appeared on Diplomatic Immunity. The actress has appeared on a lot of television shows during the past 10 years like Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. Brandt is currently performing the role of Mazikeen the character of Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fable Lucifer. Brandt was raised in the city of Cape Town, South African. They moved to Auckland, New Zealand with her family when she was in her teens. Her first job was as a model for print and commercial ads. Prior to her rise fame as a model she was employed in sales at retail as well as working as an IT recruitment consultant. Her first starring part in 2009 on the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity which featured her in the role as Leilani Fa'auigaese. Her first major appearance came in 2021 as she performed the role as a slave woman Naevia for the Starz series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The role of Naevia in the show was recast in the Spartacus prequel Spartacus Gods of the Arena. The actress co-starred with actor Craig Parker in three different TV shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). She began playing Mazikeen the demon that is a bounty hunter in Netflix's hit show Lucifer. It is her largest role so far. In the show, she is co-starring alongside Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro as well as D. B. Woodside.
